Dig Those Crazy Puppini Sisters

I have a very soft spot in my heart for Big Band and Swing music. The Andrews Sisters' tight harmonies send good-time shivers up my spine every time. So imagine my delight when I recently discovered the Puppini Sisters! This London-based trio look like 40's era pin-up girls and sing with the voices of angels. What I love about their albums is that they cover old standards like "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" but also tackle and rearrange contemporary music like Kate Bush's "Wuthering Heights" and Beyonce's "Crazy In Love". "Walk Like an Egyptian" is pretty fun, too.

I have an inkling that if you like Anne Taintor's artwork, you'll enjoy the Puppini Sisters.
